Villanova came from behind on Tuesday to beat Bishop Diego, 11-8, in a Frontier League game.
The Cardinals coughed up a 7-2 lead that they held after four innings.
“We have some things to clean up, but as a team we are improving each game,” commented Cardinals head coach Jon Ceriale.
Amanda Munoz and Kara Murray had a team-high three hits each while Lindsay Bosio went 2-for-3. Sarah Leicht had a double and a nice defensive play.
Bishop Diego (1-1) hosts Santa Clara (1-1) on Thursday.
