Seniors Trevor Moropoulos and Dalton Schroeder combined on 3-hit shutout as Santa Barbara High routed Lompoc 11-0 in its baseball home opener on Tuesday. The game was part of the Central Coast Tournament.
Bryce Morison went 2-for-2 with a double and drove in a run, and Joe Arroyo had three RBI and a pair of singles to pace the offense. The Dons had 10 hits and scored three runs in the first, second and third innings.
Moropoulos started and allowed one hit in five innings. He struck out two and walked one. Schroeder had four strikeouts, one walk and gave up two hits in two innings.
The Dons (2-0) continue tournament play on Thursday at Cabrillo.
