Santa Barbara High dropped its first game at the Anaheim Lions Baseball Tournament on Saturday, falling to Savanna 10-7.
The Dons used five pitchers, three of whom were making their debuts.
Savanna capitalized on six walks and three hit batters and banged out 10 singles to take a 9-4 lead after three innings.
Daniel McKinney hit his second home run in two days and added a double to lead Santa Barbara’s offense. John Jensen went 2-for-4 with a single and a double.
The Dons (7-5) return to the tournament on Monday to play Kennedy of La Palma and Soquel of Santa Cruz.
