A home run by RJ Cordeiro accounted for half of Bishop Diego’s offense in Friday’s 4-2 loss to Foothill Tech in a non-league game.
Andrew Perez was credited with the winning decision for the Dragons, who won their first game of the year in six tries. Bishop Diego, meanwhile, suffered its first loss and stands at 2-1.
Cordeiro made a round trip around the bases with a solo homer in the bottom of the sixth inning. Foothill Tech jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top half of the first inning and never trailed.
