Bishop Diego used a three-run first inning and a five-run fourth to defeat Dunn, 9-2, on Wednesday in the Cardinals’ season opener.
Two of Bishop Diego’s six hits went for extra bases and the Cardinals benefitted from three errors by Dunn. Matt Selman earned the victory on the mound and recorded a double. RJ Cordeiro had a triple.
Dunn didn’t score until the bottom of the sixth and seventh innings.
