Brandon Crane fired a 1-under par 70, leading the Santa Barbara High golf team to a 395-510 non-league win over Rio Mesa at Spanish Hills CC on Thursday.
“Brandon is playing extremely well in the early season,” coach Billy Spratt said. “He was three under after 9 holes today and now has two under-par rounds in competition this year. ”
The freshman duo of Preston Gomersall and James Oshner both posted scores of 76 and Fabio Rodriguez contributed with a 79. The Dons are now 5-4 on the season.
