The Carpinteria boys golf team finished in third place with a score of 590 in another Frontier League Tournament on Thursday afternoon at Montecito Country Club.
“Playing to Par 72 and over 6600 yards, the Montecito course played very tough for our team, as we played the back 9 twice,” said Warriors head coach Steve Benzin.
For the second week in a row, Foothill Tech and Fillmore finished in 1st and 2nd place, while Carpinteria came in 3rd.
Daniel Haines of Malibu was the medalist with a low-score of 90. The Warriors were led by Rafi Gonzalez, who shot a 92 on the day.
