San Marcos’ Niels Anderson led the Royals in Thursday’s Channel League victory.
Niels Andersen shot a 74 for San Marcos on Thursday in a 401-417 victory over Dos Pueblos at Rancho San Marcos.
“We had an up and down day, but anytime you can defeat a good team and your rival you have to take it,” said Royals head coach Aaron Solis. “Niels and Bennett struck the ball much better today.”
Andersen was medalist on the day for San Marcos. His teammate, Bennett Reichard, posted the Royals’ second-lowest score at 78.
The Chargers were led by Michael Nam who shot a 75 and Zach Steinberger who had a low-score of 77.
