The Chargers were 6-0-2 in league play and posted five shut outs in eight games with a 21-5 goal differential. DP’s defense was represented on the First Team by centerback Drew Richard, goalie Alex Mathews and defender Jonathan Garcia. Midfielder Jessie Jimenez was also a First-Teamer.

The postseason accolades add to a triumphant season for the Chargers as the league championship was Dos Pueblos’ first since 1983. Heiduk, who will be playing at Westmont College next year, was a First Team selection as a junior and a Second Team member as a sophomore.

York repeats as Coach of the Year after sharing the award with Santa Barbara’s Todd Heil in 2014.

Cervantes and the Dons had three shutouts and placed second in the league standings with a record of 6-2. The Dons defense only allowed five goals in eight league games.

Santa Barbara’s Brandon Sanchez, Peter Ruiz and Jorge Garcia-Torres made the All-League First Team. Sanchez and Ruiz are two-time First Team selections.

San Marcos’ Sean Estabrooks made the First Team for the Royals.
