Behind stellar blocking and powerful offense, the Carpinteria boys volleyball team swept the Nordhoff Rangers 25–22, 25–22, and 25–20 in an away matchup on Thursday.
Mason Picerni led the team with 9 kill and 4 blocks while Victor Garcia provided strong defensive effort, digging 16 balls on the day. Andrew Hipple added four kills and three blocks to the Warriors’ offense.
Carpinteria maintains its undefeated record at 3-0 and will hit the road on Tuesday when they will play Fillmore.
