Bishop Diego’s boys volleyball team remained undefeated in the Tri-Valley League after a 25-12, 15-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-12 victory over Malibu in the Brickhouse.
Luca Jordano’s 10 kills with a .600 hitting percentage and 13 digs led the Cardinals. Austin Bohnett had eight kills and 12 digs. Quinn Scott added five kills and five digs. Bishop Diego head coach Jason Donnelly credited Scott, Bishop Diego’s only senior, with making some clutch plays when the team needed them.
“The boys found a way to pull-out a hard-fought victory tonight and gained some valuable game-5 experience,” commented Donnelly.
Bishop Diego plays at Fillmore next on Tuesday.
