The Lions are the defending CIF Division 3 champions and held the Warriors in check.
“This was a great learning experience for not just the newer players but also the returners,” said Warriors head coach Charles Bryant. “I was proud of their efforts. We struggled in doubles score-wise but each round the boys kept getting better which was a great positive to build on.”
Bryan Taira accounted for half the Warriors points by winning two of three singles sets. Jonathan Cleek Jeremy Saito each picked up one win in singles.
The Warriors fall to 0-2 on the season.
