Patrick Corpuz claimed three sets for Dos Pueblos on Thursday but the Chargers fell to Campbell Hall 10-8 on the road.
Corpuz topped his opponents 6-4, 6-4, 6-2. Myles Baldwin won two of three sets to give the Chargers and advantage in the singles lineup. In doubles, Quinn Hensley and Vincent Villano grabbed two sets together.
“I am proud of how our team played. Each player showed great concentration and movement on the court; in addition, each battled to the end,” reported Chargers head coach Liz Frech.
Dos Pueblos (1-1) hosts Westlake on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
