Tori Kelley scored 19 points to lead Carpinteria to a 42-25 Frontier League girls basketball win over visiting Villanova on Tuesday night.
The win keeps the Warriors (11-7, 8-2) in a first-place tie with Foothill Tech.
Kelley is a big reason for Carpinteria’s success. She’s averaged 19 points in the last six games.
Maddie Cleek scored nine points and had five rebounds and the trio of Harmony Reed, Monique Sanchez and Sienna Caudillo hauled in 30 rebounds. Reed led the way with 11 and Sanchez had 10.
