San Marcos High’s Cassidy Drury-Pullen and Anika Wilson earned second-place finishes in their respective age groups at a USA Volleyball Winter Series Junior Beach Tour event in Hermosa Beach recently.
Drury-Pullen and partner Alexia Inman of Manhattan Beach went unbeaten in pool play and won three playoff matches in the 16-under division before falling to the reigning 17U national champions in the final.
Wilson partnered with Isabel Carey of Los Angeles. They finished second in the 18U division.
