Santa Barbara High holds down the No. 2 spot in the CIF-SS Division 2A boys basketball rankings as the regular season heads into its final week of games.
The Dons (23-4), champions of the Channel League, are behind La Mirada (21-4) in poll. This week, they play at Rio Mesa on Tuesday night and finish league play at home against Buena, which is ranked 10th in the division.
San Marcos (18-7) is fifth in the 3AA Division. The Royals, who’ve been without leading scorer Scott Everman for the last two games, play at crosstown rival Dos Pueblos and Ventura this week to close out the regular season.
Also ranked this week are Bishop Diego (9th in 5A) and Providence (16th in Division 6). The Patriots play at Laguna Blanca for the Condor League title on Wednesday.
