Ryan Bickett scored in the 68th minute to give Laguna Blanca a 1-1 draw against Laguna Blanca in a battle of Condor League soccer leaders on Wednesday in Los Olivos.
Bickett’s goal was assisted by Cooper Farrell. Dunn had taken a 1-1 lead six minutes into the second half.
With the result, both teams remain tied for first place
“We played well enough to win the game,” Laguna coach Daniel Torres said. “We created chances that should have been in the back of the net.”
Laguna Blanca is seeking its first Condor League boys soccer title since 1984.
“We’re trying to accomplish something that hasn’t been done in over 30 years,” said Torres. “I’m putting pressure on the boys and they are responding.”
