Spenser Wyatt hit a 3-pointer with nine seconds left to lift Laguna Blanca to a 32-31 victory at Besant Hill on Friday, creating a three-way tie for first place in the Condor League basketball race.
The Owls are tied with Providence and Besant Hill at the top of the standings with 7-1 records. Laguna (10-8 overall) and Providence meet on Wednesday, with the winner earning the title.
Wyatt led all scorers with 12 points and handed out five assists. Pierce O’Donnell had nine points and three rebounds and Stephen McCaffery grabbed six rebounds.
