BBK: Miranda drops 25, Warriors beat Santa Paula

The Carpinteria boys basketball team defeated Santa Paula 70-58 on Wednesday on the road.

Santa Paula got off to a hot start in sparking an early 9-2 lead, but the Warriors battled behind Omar Miranda — who scored 25 points on the day — and were able to come out on top.

Mason Picerni was not far behind with 20 points and Malcolm Gordon came off the bench to sink 15.

Carpinteria will play Santa Clara at home on Friday.
