It was a rough start but a good ending for the Carpinteria girls soccer team as they ousted Thacher 2-0 in a non-league matchup on Thursday.
Jenny Alaniz slotted in the first goal of the game off of a through ball from Kelsie Bryant. Not long after it was Bryant again making the play as she headed in a beautifully placed cross by Natalie Saito to secure the win.
The Warriors improve to 3-5-1 overall and 1-1 in league.
