Cory Blau had a solid performance with another double-double, leading Westmont’s mens basketball team to a 67-58 victory over William Jessup in a GSAC matchup on Tuesday night in Rocklin.
Blau scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Daniel Carlin and Britton Williams added 10 points apiece, as the Warriors won their third straight game.
After holding a 34-24 advantage at the half, Westmont’s lead disappeared when William Jessup was able to come from behind to tie the game at 43-43 with only 12 minutes remaining in the game.
However, the Warriors responded with a 13-2 run to take the lead for good.
The Warriors (10-6, 3-1 GSAC) continue their road trip on Thursday versus UC Santa Cruz.
