Lesly Zapata’s three goals were a team high for Carpinteria’s girls soccer team in Tuesday’s 7-0 victory over Villanova in a Frontier League game.
Jenny Alaniz added two goals while Kelsie Bryant finished with four assists. Giselle Estrada collected a goal and two assists, Alejandra Alvarez another goal and assist.
“We were able to play a lot of players a lot of minutes tonight as well. I am encouraged by our scoring lately as it is coming from many different players and we are putting away our opportunities,” reported Warriors head coach Charles Bryant.
Monica Garcia and Alexa Benitez were also important pieces.
Carpinteria (6-6-1, 4-2-0) hosts Santa Clara on Thursday in the last game of the first half of league play.
