Bishop Diego was blanked 5-0 at St. Bonaventure in a Tri-Valley League girls soccer match on Wednesday.
“Bishop is still looking to find their feet in this new league,” coach Josh Rodezno said. “It is a challenge as a small school with an equally small roster, but the second leg of this season will be where we look to have more success.”
Rodezno lauded the play of senior Kate Giannini. “She played a hard-fought game. She worked her tail off to help win back possession and string passes to keep it as well,” he said.
