Bishop Diego gave up four goals on set pieces and dropped a 5-0 decision against La Reina in a Tri-Valley League girls soccer match.
“Set pieces were our downfall this game,” said coach Josh Rodezno. “During play, we did a good job of stopping shots and winning the ball back, but not setting proper walls or following our marks gave the opposition too many opportunities to score.”
Rodezno praised the play of Ashlee Cordeiro, Monica Robles and Isabella Gregson.
