Laguna Blanca overcame a small field and poor field conditions and defeated Oak Grove, 5-2 in a boys soccer match on Saturday.
Ethan Tyng and Damian Nunez each scored two goals for the Owls, who were tied 2-2 in the 56th minute. Thomas Sloan had the other goal.
“We played on a small field, which didn’t help us out much, and the conditions were bad,” Laguna coach Daniel Torres said. “My boys weren’t prepared for that. It took us awhile to get going.”
