Matthew Eaton scored 28 points to lead Providence to a 74-39 Condor League boys basketball win over Dunn on Wednesday.
Eaton now has 308 points for the season and has a shot at setting the single-season school record for scoring at Providence. Nathan Dutcher scored 473 points in a season and JT Royston had 330.
Bryan Sheets and Caleb Jones each scored 12 points for the Patriots (6-2). Sheets had 7 rebounds and 4 assists, while Jones grabbed eight rebounds. Judah Luberto had eight rebounds, six assists and five steals.
Providence plays a non-league game on Saturday against Foothill Tech at Carpinteria High.
In the girls game, Providence beat Dunn, 44-34. Elleny King had 16 points and Monika Lopez added 13.
Providence is 5-5 overall and 5-2 in league.
