Dos Pueblos had its two-game win streak snapped by a speedy Lakewood basketball team, 57-45, on Saturday night.
Marcellus Gossett scored 12 points, Jayson Williams added 11 and Diego Riker tallied nine for the Chargers (4-9).
DP was plagued with foul trouble and sent Lakewood to the free-throw line 24 times.
Coach Joe Zamora said Riker and Gossett were bright spots for DP. “They were able to contribute on both sides of the ball,” he said. “Jayson Williams had another good game and contributed 11 for DP.”
