Bolden Brace scored the game-winner with seven seconds in overtime on Friday in Santa Barbara High’s 63-62 non-league win over Oxnard.
Ben Clay led Santa Barbara with 20 points, 18 rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Chris Givens delivered a pair of clutch 3-pointers to help the Dons pick up the victory. Brace finished with 14 points and five assists.
Santa Barbara, coming off an overtime loss to Thousand Oaks, turned the tables this time to secure its 14th win of the season in 17 games. The Dons outscored the Yellowjackets 13-8 in the fourth quarter to force overtime.
Santa Barbara has two more non-league games before beginning Channel League play on January 14. Next up is Oaks Christian on Wednesday.
