AV Bennett got Bishop Diego off to a great start in its Tri-Valley League boys basketball game against St. Bonaventure, pouring in 13 points in the first quarter.
But the Seraphs took control of the game in the second half and pulled away to a 65-41 victory.
St. Bonaventure outscored the Cardinals 32-10 in the last 16 minutes.
Bennett finished with 20 points.
The Cardinals fall to 7-13 and 1-2 in league.
