Dos Pueblos’ Ryan Fidel advanced to the championship match at the Pete Duca Invite in the 106-pound division on Friday, leading the Chargers to first place after Day 1.
Ten other Chargers made the semifinals in their respective divisions. The strong results gave Dos Pueblos a team score of 110.5. Pioneer Valley is second with 107. Sixteen teams competed.
It was Dos Pueblos’ first action of the winter season. The Chargers return to the mat next Wednesday in a four-team event at Thousand Oaks.
