Carpinteria struggled in the attacking third of the field and settled for a scoreless draw against Bt. Bonaventure on Wednesday.
“Where we struggled was creating enough quality chances up top,” Carpinteria coach Charles Bryant said. “We had plenty of possession in their offensive third, we just didn’t pull the trigger on enough shots.”
Bryant praised the play of Alejandra Alvarez and Monica Garcia on the back line and the midfield play of Kelsie Bryant and Alexa Benitez.
The Warriors are 1-0-1 overall.
