Dos Pueblos roared out to a big early lead and never looked back in beating Moorpark, 54-29, to go 4-0 in the Charger Challenge girls basketball tournament at Sovine Gym.
Freshman Amber Belletti led a balanced DP attack with 10 points. Holly Barrera, Lanay Arteaga and Hallie Magee each scored nine points. Camila Casanueva handed out eight assists to go with seven points. She was named the tourney MVP. Lauren Noggle earned all-tournament team honors.
“We’re really playing well,” said DP coach Phil Sherman, whose squad improves to 8-4.
