Jordyn Lilly had 21 points and Hannah Rogers 20 in Bishop Diego’s 56-36 victory over Santa Ynez on Monday night.
Lilly totaled 21 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Rogers also had a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Ann Bentajado collected eight points and eight rebounds off the bench.
The Cardinals used a 16-4 run in the second quarter to take a 31-14 halftime lead.
“I was really happy with our defensive rebounding and rotation,” said Cardinals head coach Jeff Burich. “We controlled the boards most of the game limiting their second chance opportunities.”
Bishop Diego’s next game is on Thursday at home against Orcutt Academy.
