Nathan Garcia ripped a shot over the outstretched hands of the Oxnard goalkeeper in 76th minute to give Dos Pueblos a 2-2 draw with Oxnard in a non-league boys soccer match on Monday.
Garcia scored both goals for the Chargers (0-2-1). He gave them a 1-0 lead early in the match on a breakaway. His first shot was blocked by the goalkeeper, but the senior striker maintained his composure and poked in the rebound.
The score remained 1-0 until Oxnard scored on a bending free kick from 25 yards in the 51st minute. The Yellowjackets took the lead in the 64th minute on another free kick.
The Chargers are back in action Thursday at Moorpark.
