Despite a solid defensive performance from captains Drew Richard and Giovanni Paredes, the Dos Pueblos boys soccer team was unable to find the net in a 1-0 loss against Moorpark on Thursday.
Moorpark scored in only the fifth minute after an unforced error set up the score on a corner kick, which eventually proved to be the only push Moorpark needed to walk away with a win.
The Chargers fall to 0-3-1 on the season and are preparing for a varsity tournament in Monrovia that will be played over the weekend.
