The three-pointers were raining down at Santa Barbara High’s J.R. Richards Gym on Friday night.
Santa Barbara buried 13 of 25 shots from behind the arc and romped to a 91-45 non-league boys basketball win over Nipomo.
Bolden Brace led the way for the Dons (7-1), pouring in 24 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Ben Brown went 3-for-3 on three-pointers and finished with 14 points. Ben Clay added 12 points. Ten players scored for Santa Barbara and nine had five or more points
The game was close in the first quarter, with Santa Barbara leading 14-11. The Dons took control in the second quarter, outscoring the Titans, 27-15 to go ahead 41-26 at halftime. The lead expanded to 64-38 in the third quarter.
Santa Barbara committed only seven turnovers in the game.
The Dons return to action next Friday against Channel Islands at Carpinteria’s Jim Bashore Cage Classic.
