Kristin Karr led Westmont with 19 points and Lauren McCoy added 18 off the bench in the Warriors’ 84-75 victory over Corban.
McCoy played more minutes than any other Warrior despite not starting the game. In 36 minutes, McCoy made 6-10 field goals and collected eight rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks.
Karr made 7-11 shots and scored her 19 in only 23 minutes. As a team the Warriors shot 45.5 percent from 3-point land and 46.6 percent from inside the arc.
Corban’s Jade Lowery led all scorers with 24 points.
Westmont led 49-37 at halftime.
The Warriors continue their weekend in Oregon with a game on Saturday against Warner Pacific. Then on Sunday Westmont faces Oregon in an exhibition.
