Bishop Diego ran up against Stanford-bound Cameron Walker and Righetti High and dropped a 67-39 decision in a non-league boys basketball game on Saturday.
First-year Bishop coach Jeff Koval had his players from the football join the team, but Righetti had too much firepower, led by the 6-8 Walker, who scored 13 points.
Will Goodwin scored 12 points to lead the Cardinals (0-2).
