Santa Barbara’s Monica Jones and the Sea Sprites senior women’s relay team are in the water and swimming across the Santa Barbara Channel from Anacapa Island to Oxnard.
The relay started at 12:01 a.m. The relay team is comprised of six women ages 62 to 76. Jones is 73.
