Laguna Blanca completed its first boys sand volleyball season with a 5-0 win against Oxnard High. Th Owls finished with a 4-3 record
In the fifth slot, Chris Costantino and Scott Johnston competed in their first match together this season and won 21-7, 21-10. The No. 4 team of Henry Farrell and Miles McGovern followed with a 21-3, 21-13 sweep.
In the second and third slotted matches, the teams of Cole Strachan/Jack Kinsler and Jack Copeland/Harrison Kerdman won in three sets, 21-8, 15-21, 18-16, and 21-14, 15-21, and 15-10, respectively.
Continuing their stellar run from last weekend’s second-place tournament finish, senior captains Ethan Katnic and Connor Curran finished their season with a quick two-set victory 21-14, 21-16.
