Laguna Blanca’s girls volleyball team remained undefeated in the Condor League after a one-sided 25-2, 25-6, 25-5 sweep over Garden Street Academy in Merovick Gym on Saturday.

Emily Lafitte served 18 straight points in the first set and Kelly Bickett’s 19-point run at the service line largely decided Game 3. In Game 2, Kendall White led the Owls with the longest service streak.

The result improves the Owls to 5-0 in league play.

Garden Street Academy, a small school in its first year of CIF competition, suffered its second defeat of the season to the defending league champions but showed a slight improvement by winning four more points in the match than the first time the two teams played.
