With Shannon Callaway and Miranda Marquez putting away balls at the net, it wasn’t long before the Carpinteria girls volleyball team hopped on the bus home with another victory under their belts.
The Warriors swept Foothill in straight-sets on Tuesday with the scores of 25–16, 25–13, 25–20.
Callaway and Marquez combined to knock down 16 kills. Callaway was also able to do some damage from the service line as she finished with 10 aces. Monique Sanchez also tallied four digs and four aces on the day.
Carpinteria now improves to 9-5 overall and 8-2 league and will go on to face Fillmore on Thursday.
