GTen: Warriors lose in games after splitting sets with La Reina

It all game down to games as the Carpinteria girls tennis team came out on the losing end of a 9-9 (73-69) split with La Reina in a Tri-Valley league matchup on Thursday.

Kelsie Bryant led the Warriors, giving up only one game in a 3-0 sweep on the day in the N0.1 singles spot. Natalie Saito and Makenna Pike were able to win two of their three sets in the doubles department. Madison Cleek and Kathryn Blair each contributed one set in singles.

Carpinteria is now 12-4-1 overall and 5-2 in league. The Warriors will travel to San Luis Obispo next week where they will face off against Righetti.
