Carpinteria’s girls tennis team was able to mix up its lineup during a 17-1 romp over Santa Clara on Friday.
Gabi Montes De Oca and Natalie Saito transitioned from doubles and swept their three sets in singles.
Coach Charles Bryant said Azalea Kemp played some of her best tennis all year, winning two sets and coming very close to winning the third set as well.
In doubles, Elie Morgan/Madison Cleek, Merissa Souza/Kathryn Blair and Makenna Pike/Emily Saito all swept.
Carpinteria is now 11-3-1 overall and 4-1 in the Tri-Valley League.
