Dos Pueblos won all nine doubles sets on Tuesday and won its Channel League match 16-2 over San Marcos.
The Chargers’ record of 6-2 gives them second place in the Channel League. The team closes out its regular season on Friday with a non-league match against Arroyo Grande. After that, it’s the individual league tournament followed by CIF.
Chloe Scott and Catherine Wang led the doubles effort at the No. 1 position. Scott and Wang captured their three sets convincingly 6-0, 6-0, 6-1. Heather Cano/Saylor Yoos and Serina Applebaum/Siena Applebaum swept their matches as well.
Katie Yang posted solid wins of 6-1, 6-2, 6-0 to lead the Chargers’ singles side.
San Marcos’ points came from Renee Handley (6-2) and Julia Frohling (7-5) in singles.
