The Bishop Diego girls tennis team didn’t give up a single set on Thursday in an 18-o shutout over Saint Bonaventure at the Municipal tennis courts.
Sierra Faoro, Pim Chitsanga, and Ellee Braniff all went 3-0 in singles. Lilibeth Mamahua paired up with Francesca Nash to go undefeated on the day in the No. 1 doubles spot. Jackie Pacheco and Afreen Fathima swept all three of their doubles matches as well.
Bishop Diego improves to 4-8 overall and 4-7 in league. The Cardinals will go on the road on Tuesday where they will try and continue their momentum in a crosstown match against Laguna.
