Bella Vigna continued her outstanding play on the golf course for Dos Pueblos, shooting a 2-under 33 at Glen Annie Golf Course to lead the unbeaten Chargers to a 192-321 Channel League win over Santa Barbara.
Vigna, a freshman, shot a 31 last week at Buenaventura GC.
“Bella has been constantly scoring low and today was no exception,” assistant coach Dan Choi said. “Today was not a great ball striking day for her, but she plays smart and puts the ball in the right places.”
Seniors Megan Caird and Mika Henrickson each shot 3- over 38 for DP, which improved to 11-0 overall and 6-0 in league.
This Thursday the Chargers travel to Olivas Links to face Buena High.
