The San Marcos girls golf team outshot Buena 222-280 on Tuesday at Olivas Links golf course in Ventura.
MacKenzie McBride and Kelsey Gellert were the medalists of the match, both shooting a score of 43. Alex Pitchford was not far behind with a 44 after getting a birdie on the first hole. Mallory Sestak battled back after struggling on the first hole and recorded a 45, while Kellen Peddicord finished with a 47.
San Marcos improves to 13-2 overall and 5-1 in league.
The Royals are set to play again next Tuesday against unbeaten Dos Pueblos at Glen Annie golf course.
