Anika Wilson and Chloe Allen reached double-digit kill totals on Tuesday in San Marcos’ 25-21, 25-15, 18-25, 25-16 victory over Buena in a Channel League match.
Sixteen defensive errors led to the third-set loss, but the Royals rebounded in the fourth set. San Marcos took a 10-3 lead, which Buena trimmed to 15-12. The Royals closed out the match by winning 10 of the final 14 points.
Allen finished with a team-high 11 kills, four aces and seven digs. Wilson tallied 10 kills and Emily Allen had nine.
The Royals are 1-1 in Channel League play.
