Providence picked up its second Condor League win without a loss on Wednesday by defeating Garden Street Academy 25-17, 25-14, 25-7.
Ozie LeSage had 7 kills on 9 attempts with no errors. Maddy Niessen had eight kills and seven assists. Cody Niessen’s 13 assists and many more quality sets.
Patriots head coach Laura Newton praised senior Meghan Vincent.
“(She) is finding her niche on the team as a defensive specialist,” Newton said. “She had three aces for the night and her consistent serving kept the pressure on the other team. Her serve receive passing helped us run our offense. She has a very positive attitude and always keeps her teammates smiling.”
Providence (4-2, 2-0) faces Orcutt on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Santa Barbara High gym.
